Modus FX has recently completed and delivered visual effects shots for the movie The American, based on the Martin Booth novel, A Very Private Gentleman. Serendipity Point Films teamed up with Modus FX to work on the adaptation of Montreal author Mordecai Richler's award-winning novel Barney's Version. As the sole visual effects company on this feature-length production, Modus has just delivered 65 digital effects shots for the film directed by Richard J. Shanghai 2010 world exhibition to start soon
A few days before the opening of the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, Modus FX has now officially completed visual effects for the stereoscopic production "Oil - Extending City Dreams". The project is a short 3D film chronicling the evolution of human civilization and milestones in the urbanization process. The show will be projected on a cube-shaped pavilion totaling of 3,600 square meters and lit by tens of thousands of light-emitting diodes (LEDs).

Atlas 4D on Discovery Channel
Discovery Channel’s Emmy award-winning Atlas was in 2006 the most ambitious HD television project ever to go into production. Modus FX creates captivating worlds for Mr. Nobody.
MODUS FX announces having delivered 121 digital visual effects shots for the feature film Mr. Nobody, recipient of the Golden Osella for Best Technical Contribution at the 66th Venice International Film Festival. The film was produced by Pan-Europeenne, co-produced by Integral Film, Lago Film, Christal Films Productions and Toto & Co. Films, directed by Jaco Van Dormael, with visual effects supervision by Louis Morin. The film is also an Official Selection at this year’s Toronto Film Festival.
